Insurance law firm hires Peter Unsworth and David Wynn from Halliwells
Insurance law firm Keoghs has appointed two new partners to its expanding litigation team – Peter Unsworth and David Wynn return to Keoghs from Halliwells.
Keoghs has welcomed three partners back into the fold in recent months, with Suzanne Drinkwater having returned to the crime and regulatory team in July last year.
Wynn has many years industry experience dealing with complex multi-track employers’ and public liability matters and disease cases. For the past four years he has specialised in disease litigation, dealing primarily with chemical poisoning and asbestos cases.
Wynn will be based at the Bolton office.
Unsworth specialises in the handling of commercial litigation matters in the insurance field with particular emphasis on policy disputes, fraud, professional indemnity and property insurance claims. Unsworth specialises in fire, subsidence and engineering disputes and also deals with subrogated recoveries in those areas. He will also be based at the Bolton office.
John Whittle, chief executive of Keoghs, said: “These appointments are significant on many levels – firstly as a sign of our continued growth across all the sectors in which we work, secondly as an endorsement of Keoghs as a great place to work, and finally because we are welcoming back three practitioners at the top of their careers that will be a real asset to the firm.”
