London law firm Kennedys has appointed two new partners, David Sullivan and Charles Brewer, as part of its continued UK expansion.

Sullivan joined Kennedys in 1999. Prior to that, he spent ten years working as a claims consultant to Lloyd's underwriters who handled claims generated on major professional indemnity contracts for architects, engineers, surveyors and accountants.

Brewer, a general commercial and property litigator, joins Kennedys from Wollastons in Chelmsford. He will be based in Brentwood, Essex.

The total number of partners at the firm is now 58.

Kennedys, which specialises in insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution, has five UK offices. Other offices are situated in Hong Kong, Auckland and New Delhi.
