New network for brokers is ready to roll
Jelf has announced the launch of the Purple Partnership, a collaboration between the Group and experienced network professional, Bob Parkins.
Purple Partnership is a new network conceived by brokers for brokers and marks a further development of the Jelf Group’s strategy.
Jelf Group chief executive, Alex Alway, who will chair the new venture, said: “The independent broking market is vital in providing businesses and individuals with impartial advice on insurance and risk management. Whilst we continue to pursue our acquisition strategy, we believe that a competitive market place is healthy for the industry. The Purple Partnership will offer brokers an alternative to existing networks and is designed to enhance their client offering whilst helping to secure future independence.”
Parkins, who will assume the role of managing director of the Purple Partnership, said: “I’m looking to offer an alternative to the other network solutions that are currently available. Working with a Broker of Jelf’s stature is fantastic. They have insurer and industry relationships that are the envy of many brokers and now we are able to share in them. This is a partnership and this means that we will work tirelessly with our members to ensure they can remain as competitive as possible. I can’t wait to start sharing some of the details of ‘Purple products’ with potential members.”
