Jelf’s directors pay increased by 8.8% for 2012.
Directors pay increased to £1.4m in 2012 from £1.2m in 2011. The top director at the broker took home £399,000 in total pay including a £176,000 bonus from sales related activity.
In its annual report Jelf said: “In order to attract and maintain a senior management team of the calibre required to make a significant contribution to maximising shareholder value, it is necessary to provide a competitive remuneration structure.”
The company announced profits of £3.9m for 2012, up from £3.2m for the previous year.
