Invicta to acquire Sevenoaks Insurance Brokers Ltd

Invicta Insurance Services is to acquire the entire general insurance portfolio of Sevenoaks Insurance Brokers Limited, a nearby independent brokerage based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The deal will go through on January 1 2013, and all Sevenoaks staff will be joining Invicta.

Invicta Insurance Services managing director Steve Gamage said: “This acquisition comprises high quality general insurance risks with much of the business being local. I am delighted that the staff of Sevenoaks Insurance Brokers will all be joining Invicta to help with the merger and our growth plans.”

Sevenoaks Insurance Brokers managing director Adrian Goodall said: “We have been approached by several companies wanting to buy us but we chose Invicta because it represented the best home for our loyal clients and staff.  I have watched Invicta grow and am impressed with their methods and standards of service. I’m pleased that this merger will provide the residents and businesses of Sevenoaks with a very strong and independent general insurance broker right on their doorstep.”
