Every day for the festive period continuing until Christmas Eve, Insurance Times speaks to a selection of industry personalities about what they’d like to find under the tree for 2024.  

What was your insurance industry highlight of 2023?

For me, the highlight of 2023 has to be having the chance to meet up with old friends and make new connections at major industry events. Our business is all about relationships and collaboration and we really missed those events when they couldn’t take place in person.

Being able to get together in the flesh is so motivating and always what the industry needs – especially when faced with the challenges of a hard market and cost of living crisis. We look forward to more of that next year.

What is your Christmas message for your insurance colleagues?

I would like to say congratulations on getting to the end of another very challenging year – one that’s highlighted a united resilience and determination to keep moving forward.

Peach Pi is looking forward to collaborating with our broker partners again next year to deliver the protection and service our customers expect and deserve. May 2024 be a year to continue to rebuild trust in our industry so that we don’t just survive, but thrive.

What do you hope to find under the industry’s Christmas tree for 2024?

Oh, good question! We’re looking to double our schemes business next year, so I’d love to find a stocking full of new staff, new broker partners and new schemes solutions. Oh – and I suppose it really has to be a bottle of Peach schnapps to see in what I hope will be a very productive new year.
