Michael Davis, customer relationship director at Corpore, tells Insurance Times why his firm should win the Excellence in Technology - Motor Claims category at the 2022 Insurance Times Awards
Explain briefly about your entry in the Excellence in Technology - Motor Claims category.
NHS provision for physiotherapy post-pandemic has become more restricted than ever before, increasing demand for private treatment and forcing third party claimants to compete for limited appointments in some areas.
At the same time, our telephone triage approach for musculoskeletal conditions was becoming outdated for the modern world.
With a drive to ease supply chain pressure and a determination to continue providing our injured parties with the best clinical quality standard of service, we sourced the innovative digital technology of Phio Access.
What do you think makes your entry stand out or different from your competition?
Phio Access catapults our musculoskeletal triage service into the digital era with its conversational artificial intelligence interaction that encourages engagement and boosts insurer corporate image.
The detailed decision tree formula maps over 3,000 different musculoskeletal complaints, is clinically validated and follows the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and NHS frameworks to ensure we provide clinically accurate treatment advice to our clients.
This is all generated from a web-based app that’s available 24/7, which also provides data rich reports to insurers to support claims management.
What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
Winning this award would demonstrate the importance of developing resources for the digital age, motivating us to constantly evolve and advance our services to ensure that we continually provide optimum quality and support to injured parties and customers alike.
