Insurance specialist joins Weightmans

National law firm, Weightmans has recruited insurance specialist, Simon Durkin.

For over 16 years, Durkin has specialised in policy coverage and related disputes, acting exclusively for insurers.

Durkin also has extensive non-contentious insurance experience – recently, he was retained by a major London Market insurer to create a suite of modular insurance products covering first-party property and business interruption, healthcare, cyber, professional liability, contractors all risks and management liability.

On joining Weightmans, Durkin commented:

Simon is joined by litigation partners Chris Doran and Robert Whitehead, both of whom have insurance experience within their respective fields. They joined the company earlier this month.
