Telematics insurer Ingenie appoints Selim Cavanagh to the newly created role of chief executive
Selim Cavanagh has been appointed as young driver telematics insurer Ingenie’s chief executive. He is the first to serve in the newly created role.
Cavanagh has 20 years experience working with data, IT and research in insurance. He most recently held senior roles, including vice president of telematics and vice president of motor insurance, at Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions. He has also worked as managing director of Lexis Nexis’ Wunelli telematics business unit.
His other previous experience includes as Experian commercial director of insurance. He has also spent seven years at AXA.
Cavanagh will look to drive growth for Ingenie in the new role, while working closely with the existing senior management team.
