Former AXA CEO and Broker Network boss link up with Bob Beckett's firm
Insurance services business Total Broker Solutions (TBS) has made two senior appointments to its board.
Former AXA chief executive Peter Hubbard will become non-executive chairman of TBS, and former Broker Network managing director Mark Wood will become group managing director.
TBS has two trading subsidiaries, UKGI, which offers compliance support services to brokers, and UKGI Services, which provides a range of other business services to the broker market. Bob Beckett, will remain as chairman of the two companies.
Beckett said: “I warmly welcome Peter and Mark to TBS. They are both high calibre individuals with a wealth of experience in the UK Insurance market. I am confident that TBS will gain enormously from Peter’s breadth of experience running major insurance businesses, while Mark’s appointment will ensure UKGI is strongly placed to lead the market for the provision of compliance and business support services.”
Wood said: “I am delighted to be joining UKGI at a time of increasing demand for UKGI’s unique compliance-led broker support service proposition. This is a business which thrives on good relationships, and my immediate focus will be on consolidating the success of the business and building on the valuable relationships we enjoy with our independent broker and market partners.”
He added: “Alongside Bob Beckett, proposition director Mike Williams and now Peter Hubbard, I believe we form a very strong senior team to deliver market leading compliance and business support services to independent brokers.”
