AXA will take on 100% underwriting risks
AXA has formed a five year underwriting partnership with Homeserve, it was recently announced.
In its trading update, Homeserve – the home emergency services company, announced that following a detailed review of its current structure, AXA will take 100% of the company’s underwriting risk for new business starting 1 October.
A statement said: “In addition to improving the margins in our policy membership business, the new arrangements will result in a release of funds from our captive insurance company.”
