Latest client includes Broker Direct
Household utility insurer HomeCall+ is set to expand its wholesale products home emergency cover to the B2B market in 2010 with a range of low cost policies to all levels of the broker market.
Latest client gains include broker to broker service Broker Direct and the Personal Group, one of the market leaders providing employee benefits packages - and discussions are currently underway with a wide range of other major household insurance names.
The HomeCall+ range of policies provide essential cover for emergency repairs for plumbing and drainage problems, electrical failure, gas central heating breakdown, hot water failure, vermin infestation, broken or damaged windows or doors presenting a security risk and roofing emergencies following a storm or bad weather.
“With the economic crisis has come a greater awareness of risk amongst consumers that has encouraged take up of home emergency insurance,” said HomeCall+ managing director John Williams.
“It is clear that householders want to protect themselves from unexpected bills, more so when times are already hard, so this is an obvious opportunity for brokers to capitalise on.”
With its nationwide network of over 6,500 Gas Safe registered tradesmen, the company has firmly established a reputation of value and reliability with consumers and because prices are a fraction of those of major competitors such as British Gas and Homeserve, the business has expanded rapidly over the last five years.
