FirstAssist has been appointed as legal expenses provider to high net worth broker
Home & Legacy, the specialist mid to high net worth broker has appointed FirstAssist Legal Protection, part of FirstAssist Group, as its new legal expenses insurance provider.
The appointment, which follows a competitive bidding process, comes into effect on 1st June 2008. Allianz Legal Protection is thought to be one of the companies to have lost out.
Andy Glynne, head of business development at FirstAssist Legal Protection said the deal would generate a significant level of business for the company.
“It is worth hundreds of thousand of pounds in gross written premium and ten of thousands of policyholders,” said Glynne.
Meanwhile FirstAssist is to unveil its first ever marketing campaign later this month. The campaign will spearhead a major sales drive for the business over the next 12 months which is set to shake up the legal expenses marketplace.
