Lloyd’s broker snaps up non-marine business
Lloyd’s broker John Holman & Sons has bought the non-marine business of London Market Insurance Brokers (LMIB).
Four LMIB staff will transfer to Holman’s offices in the London Underwriting Centre.
Holman’s chief executive Andrew Holman said: “Although international business used to be a major part of our portfolio in the past, in recent years we have focused almost exclusively on our UK wholesaling.
“Whilst the UK will continue to be an area of major focus we are excited that this acquisition allows us to begin to develop an international book of business alongside our growing UK wholesale activities.”
