Hiscox is to introduce access to a 24-hour security advice service for its household insurance clients. It said it was the first insurance underwriter in the UK to offer the service.
It said as of 1 March 2004, access to the security advice service, called red24, would become standard elements of its home and contents insurance products.
Hiscox said relevant access could be accessed through email, a dedicated phone hotline, or the internet.
