Hiscox looks to RSA for new UK partnerships director

Lloyd’s insurer Hiscox has hired RSA’s Robert Moore as head of UK direct and intermediated partnerships.

Moore is one of several recently anounced departures departures from RSA’s UK business, which include UK SME head Tara Kneafsey and UK global specialty head Paul Greensmith.

Moore spent 15 years at RSA, and most recently was partnership director for RSA’s affinity deal with high-street retailer John Lewis.

Before that, he was head of strategy and marketing at RSA Italy.

Moore joined RSA’s graduate trainee programme in 1999.

Hiscox UK broker channel managing director Ross Dingwall said: “The distribution landscape is changing as buying direct or through schemes or partnerships becomes increasingly commonplace.  Robert will play an important part in helping us to seize the opportunities that exist in this space.”
