Law firm hires Stratos Gatzouris from Keoghs
Stratos Gatzouris has joined Hill Dickinson’s fraud unit management team and will lead the fraud unit at the law firm’s Manchester office.
Gatzouris has more than 15 years of experience in fraud prevention, having previously worked at Keoghs as head of complex fraud, where he helped develop fraud technical policies and fraud products. Gatzouris is also chair of the Fraud Sector Focus Team of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers.
In his new role, Gatzouris will be responsible for contributing to business strategy, thought leadership and providing clients with fraud prevention advice.
Gatzouris said: “I believe Hill Dickinson is ideally positioned to become the provider and adviser of choice for the market in relation to all things ‘insurance fraud’. We can provide insurers with unique intelligence, proactive case management, defendant litigation support and we have the expertise to advise on fraud prevention strategies and measures.
“It is my intention to support the fraud management team at Hill Dickinson in creating an environment where insurers have no need or wish to go anywhere else for fraud prevention and detection support.”
Hill Dickinson head of fraud Peter Oakes said: “I am delighted that after 15 years with Keoghs’ fraud team, Stratos has chosen to pursue his fraud prevention career further with Hill Dickinson.
“The calibre of his technical expertise and strategic advice, combined with his exceptional business development skills and powerful network of industry contacts, all combine to make Stratos a fantastic addition to the Hill Dickinson fraud team.”
