Higos makes raft of new appointments from Bluefin

Higos Insurance Services has hired seven members of staff from Bluefin as it plans to grow its book of business across both commercial and personal lines.

Chris Smoldon, Stacey Fowles, Derek Hadlow and Kevin Jackson have been appointed as corporate account executives.

Pete Rayner has joined the construction department based in Higos’s Somerton office, while Anna Golden has been hired as sales introducer and Cath Kearney as commercial account handler.

Higos managing director Ian Gosden said: “Our commercial insurance team is of great importance to us and we are thrilled that such capable individuals have chosen to join us.

“Their experience of commercial insurance, combined with technical knowledge, will make them an invaluable addition to the existing team.
