Highway Insurance Holdings has confirmed it is in talks which could lead to an offer for the company with Cox Insurance.
Highway said the takeover talks were continuing but added that any formal offer remained subject to a number of conditions, including the completion of due diligence.
A statement will be made in due course, said Highway, as it advised its shareholders to take no action.
