Commercial package for insulators underwritten by AIG
Heath Lambert has launched a new commercial insurance package for companies which are members of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA).
TICA is the 'parent' association of existing Heath Lambert affinity client, the Asbestos Control and Abatement Division (ACAD), and represents companies involved in industrial hot and cold insulation.
This new development means that TICA members will now have the opportunity to accessing the same package of cover available to users of Heath Lambert’s award-winning ACAD Insurance Solutions scheme, launched in February last year.
Marketed under the brand TICA Insurance Solutions, the new scheme will offer TICA members exclusive access to cost-effective, tailored solutions for their employer’s, public and products’ and environmental impairment liabilities and contractors all risks.
As with the ACAD scheme the TICA scheme is underwritten by AIG and uses AIG’s highly innovative 'Accel Elite' employer’s liability product, which applies actively managed medical and vocational rehabilitation services to help individuals recover more quickly following claims and thereby helps to reduce the overall cost of a company’s claims.
Ralph Bradley, Chief Executive of TICA-ACAD, commented: "We have been delighted with the success of the ACAD focused scheme which has produced much more realistic premiums and offered companies in the asbestos management and removal sector access to enhanced insurance cover.
"I very much welcome this new scheme for TICA members. I hope that they will ask TICA Insurance Solutions to look at their current insurance arrangements to see if they can reduce their premiums and enjoy better cover too."
Mike Owen, Group Marketing Director of Heath Lambert, commented: "We are very pleased to be extending our involvement with TICA-ACAD and we look forward to working with TICA member companies to provide them with the cost-effective protection they require.
"We will be contacting each of TICA’s members with information about the benefits our scheme can offer and inviting them to register for an individual quotation in good time for their next renewal."
