Heath Lambert has joined forces with Equifax, to create a theft and fraud protection insurance policy.
The main features of the policy include an automated way to alert customers to any changes to their credit, thereby signalling the occurrence of identity fraud or theft.
The policy also includes contact on behalf of the customer to organisations seeking recompense and pursuit of civil claims.
Julian Wakeling, director of Heath Lambert Financial and Professional Risks, said: "False identity fraud is up significantly in 2005 and recent research has revealed that 23% of respondents have been victims of fraud, with credit card fraud the most common type at 60%."
Heath Lambert has chosen Arc Legal Assistance to arrange and administer the professional legal advice and insurance.
