Website will find cover for people travelling with pre-existing medical conditions
Heath Lambert has launched a new website to give brokers access to specialist travel insurance for people with pre-existing medical conditions.
This specialist travel insurance scheme is designed to make it easy for brokers to find cover for clients that are travelling with pre-existing medical conditions and for older customers. The team has devised a simple website under its sub-brand ‘Unique’, for FSA regulated brokers. A quote can be obtained in around seven minutes.
All medical conditions can be considered and there is no separate medical screening to go through. The cover is available for EU or worldwide, annual or single trip cover and has no upper age limit on single trips.
Diane Caplehorn, affinity manager of the personal lines division at Heath Lambert, said: “We are delighted to offer this facility; allowing smaller brokers to take advantage of a level of cover that they might not otherwise be able to offer their customers. We have already had a really positive response to this service from brokers, which is very encouraging. We are keen to continue to work with other brokers to ensure that customers who need specialist cover are able to access this facility as easily as possible.”
