Heath Lambert has announced the appointment of Mark Hardinge as chief executive of the group's financial and professional risks operation.

Hardinge joins from Aon, where he was managing director of its professional risks division. Prior to this, he was chief executive of Guy Carpenter and also spent 15 years at Marsh, where he was chief executive of its financial and professional risks practice and a board director.

Hardinge will take on a broad client development role with a focus on directors' and officers' liability and errors and omissions business with large corporate clients.

He will take up his position on 1 November.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
