Difficulty in obtaining insurance is a major concern of consumers who have heart problems, revealed the British Heart Foundation.

The charity said it received more calls about insurance and travel than on any other subject.

“After a heart attack or being diagnosed with a heart condition, the last thing anyone needs is extra money or travel worry,” said the charity.

The charity has compiled a list of insurance companies and brokers who, according to feedback from heart patients, are sympathetic to the needs of those who suffer from heart problems.
