HealthSure, the national healthcare cash plan provider, has appointed four new members to its intermediary team in a bid to meet increased demand from brokers and grow business.
The provider said it has also introduced a raft of new initiatives to help intermediaries sell more healthcare cash plans.
The new recruits comprise two intermediary consultants, an intermediary co-ordinator and an intermediary administrator.
Jaswinder Sandhu and Nick Owen join as intermediary consultants. They will be responsible for developing relationships with brokers and communicating
strategic developments in the health and insurance industries to ensure that intermediaries are well informed of the benefits of offering healthcare cash plans to their clients.
Jordan Pearson joins as intermediary co-ordinator and Laura McCormick as intermediary administrator.
David Wilson of HealthSure said: "It is crucial that intermediaries understand the policies and how they can benefit their corporate clients by helping them meet their duty of care requirements while also assisting with stress management and health-related absenteeism issues.
"There is still significant untapped potential for intermediaries with healthcare cash plan policies - they can even be offered to individual clients looking for a way to budget for the cost of their everyday healthcare."
