Health for Industry Limited has launched a dedicated offshore and international private medical insurance brokerage.
The company, named Health for Industry International Limited, will be based in Guernsey and licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Janice Everden has been appointed managing director for the new business.
Health for Industry International will provide broker services to several major Guernsey companies, it said.
It will also provide broker services to offshore companies and multi-national clients with expatriate employees. This includes UK expatriates and third country nationals, the company said.
Everden said: “After identifying a gap in the international private medical insurance market we started to create a business that had the ability to provide both advice and broking to small and large multi-national organisations.
“We have launched our business with the guidance and expertise of local people on the Island of Guernsey and to date we have been extremely pleased with what has been achieved.
Our objective is to become the leading international private medical insurance brokerage in the British Isles within the next few years.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
