Harrison Beaumont Insurance Services has acquired the UK business of Irish broker ARB Underwriting.
Under the deal, the ARB commercial portfolio will be merged into the Harrison Beaumont business. ARB currently operates from Southampton.
The acquisition is with effect from 1 July, and is one of a number of planned acquisitions currently underway, said Harrison Beaumont. The company said it expected to announce further acquisitions in the coming months.
Harrison Beaumont said: “We are delighted with this acquisition and welcome the ARB Underwriting team on board. The business represents an excellent strategic fit and will bring further scale to our existing operations.
“The move will open up an extended product range to ARB Underwriting intermediaries, while providing new markets for our current broker partners.”
