Hardy hires Bunting as head of claims

Hardy Underwriting has hired Matt Bunting (pictured) as head of claims.

Bunting joins Hardy with 25 years’ experience as a claims professional, having worked most recently as a consultant to insurers including Markel and Scor.

He has also previously held roles at Zurich Financial Services as senior claims manager and at Catlin where he was deputy director of claims.

Hardy chief executive Barbara Merry said: “It is excellent news for Hardy that Matt has joined us. Matt has a depth of technical and operational experience that will ensure that Hardy’s claims handling is focused on delivering outstanding service to clients and we are excited to have him as part of our team.
