Groupama Insurances has launched Optima Trade Plus offering micro SMEs a range of benefits and cover that has traditionally only been available to much larger companies.
Optima Trade Plus forms the latest addition to Groupama's growing Optima range of automated commercial products, building on the success of its Optima Trade and Professional product for tradesmen.
The insurer said the launch was a significant development opportunity for brokers targeting the three million businesses in the UK's SME community.

Optima Trade Plus provides cover for work across the European Union and is available to tradesmen, professionals and home-workers operating on a self-employed basis, for partnerships, and for limited companies with a maximum of eight persons working in the business.
