Groupama has launched a new commercial policy for small businesses.
The product, Optima Business, replaces its Business Cover and Corporate Cover policies.
It is aimed at companies with a payroll of up to £750,000 (typically up to 50 employees), and is designed to appeal to brokers operating primarily in the warehousing, retail and manufacturing sectors.
Bird said the policy contains property all risks cover as a standard feature, and it also includes an element of free legal expenses cover with an option to purchase full cover.
Groupama is also offering a no claims rebate via Optima Bonus to selected brokers that have a "close and profitable relationship" with the insurer. Brokers receive cash back at renewal.
