Groupama has joined the home insurance panel of Castle Cover – the specialist Over 50s broker that launched in July 2006.
Castle Cover has a panel of insurers for the provision of home, motor, travel and pet insurance.
Allison Andrews, head of business development for the Partnerships division of Groupama said: “We are very pleased to have developed this new partnership with Castle Cover. The Castle Cover policy meets the needs of this market perfectly and we believe that through our underwriting expertise we will become a very substantial provider on Castle Cover's home panel. Furthermore we plan to extend this relationship to become part of Castle Cover's motor panel later this year.”
The broker was launched by Andrew Marchington in July 2006 in recognition of the fact that the ‘over 50's' represent a lower insurance risk than younger people and should therefore be able to take advantage of more competitive insurance premiums.
