Greenbee, the direct services arm of the John Lewis Partnership, has appointed Camelot marketeer Rick Jones to the position of head of marketing.

Greenbee, which has launched into event, home, wedding and travel insurance, said Jones will lead the direct services business' marketing and brand development employing a multi-channel strategy.

Greenbee managing director, James Furse, said: “What is immediately clear from Rick's impressive career history is that Greenbee will benefit enormously from his experience of dealing with big brands such as the National Lottery and his enviable track record in online marketing and consumer understanding.
