Pendleton will be responsible for the growth, management and development of business relationships in the financial services sector.
He has 18 years experience across the personal lines market and joins from Norwich Union.

Centor has appointed Graeme Whittle as a senior account executive to its commercial development division.
Whittle has almost 30 years’ experience in underwriting and broking property, construction and liability risks.
He will be responsible for the expansion and enhancement of Centor’s technical team, with a specific focus on the construction sector.

Jon Rush has been appointed project manager for non-motor sustainability business within Allianz Personal.
His responsibilities will include managing delivery of non-motor sustainability projects for personal lines business and implementing a strategy to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for the company by setting direction and driving improvement.
Allianz Insurance has appointed Ling Stephens as its new head of internal audit.
Stephens will lead the internal audit department in fulfilling its responsibilities in support of the corporate governance arrangements within Allianz Insurance.
She has more than 20 years’ experience in internal audit, finance and fund manage-ment within the financial services industry.
Allianz Commercial has appointed Kevin Sargant as property and casualty manager, based in Maidstone.
Sargant has 19 years’ experience in the industry.
Sabre
David Hall has rejoined Sabre Insurance as head of business systems, after a period of seven years away, firstly with Jubilee and then Markerstudy.
Ace
Ace UK has appointed Patrick Drinan as UK & Ireland national distribution director.
Drinan will report to Richard Pryce, president of Ace UK.
He joins from his previous role as UK & Ireland commercial property and casualty manager.
Drinan will work closely with the underwriting and business development teams and is responsible for the strategic direction of the distribution of ACE’s products and service proposition.

Iprism has made four senior appointments to its underwriting team.
John Lawton will head the new underwriting team.
He joins from Home and Legacy where he held the position of director with responsibility for underwriting and schemes management.
Gary Johnson will join as one of three new senior underwriters. He has moved from Royal and SunAlliance where he worked as schemes development manager.
Senior underwriters Mike Atkins, formerly of AXA and Angus Dunn previously at Norwich Union will complete the team.

Legal Risk has recruited professional indemnity solicitor Francis Dingwall as a partner.
Dingwall was previously joint head of the professional negligence and commercial litigation department at Henmans, where he acted for many of the leading insurers of solicitors and other professionals.

QuestGates has made two appointments to its environmental claims unit.
David Hopper will be responsible for all aspects of the claims management process.
With 20 years’ experience, Hopper specialises in liability and commercial property claims.
Hayley Read joins from the company’s motor division.
Based at the company’s Bolton office, she will provide administrative and technical support.
Adrian Bowness joins QuestGates’ property division.
Bowness is an experienced loss adjuster with particular expertise in handling high net worth, commercial property and business interruption losses.
BMS CAT
BMS CAT has appointed Bernard Connolly as technical director of its UK operations.
He is responsible for technical and complex projects.
Connolly has worked for over 18 years in the damage management industry.
BMS CAT has also appointed Neil Healy as regional director of its UK operations.
Healy has over 20 years’ practice in all aspects of disaster restoration.

Open GI has expanded its account management team with the appointment of Marc Humphrey as account manager.
He joins from OKI Printing Solutions, where he was senior account manager, looking after corporate clients across a variety of industries.

Powell Insurance has appointed Steve Penketh to its board of directors following his promotion to client services director.
He joins managing director Eliot Powell on the board, together with Karen Bateson, who has been promoted to deputy managing director.
Penketh joined Powells in 2001 and has been responsible for developing its client services proposition, as well as expanding the range and scope of products and services available to clients.
Karen Bateson joined the business from Willis in 2004. As Operations Director, she has led many initiatives that have contributed to the company’s year-on-year growth and will now look to develop strategic client relationships too.
