Alan Horemans joins NIG as manager, commercial motor. He has 15 years' experience in the industry and has worked for Groupama, Guardian and GA.

Laura Cochran has been appointed as manager, commercial liability. She joins from CGNU where she was head of knowledge management for general insurance.

Mike Crane joins as manager, commercial property from Norwich Union (NU) where he was manager for niche products.

Endurance Specialty Insurance
Endurance Specialty Insurance has appointed Mark Boucher as executive vice president, international operations.

Boucher was previously at Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) where he oversaw the company's London-based commercial operations. Prior to joining R&SA,. Boucher was chief operating officer of Alexander Howden Non-Marine for 13 years.

Beckett Risk Management
Three new sales executives have been appointed at Beckett Risk Management.

Catherine Kearney joins the Leicester office and will specialise in personal insurance. She has worked for more than 20 years' experience in the industry.

Juliet Marke also joins the Leicesteroffice; she will concentrate on commercial businesses in Nottinghamshire, Derby and the outskirts of Leicester. She has more than ten years' experience of commercial insurance.

Tina Pawson joins the Bury St Edmunds office to develop commercial insurance new business with the existing team.

Oughtred & Harrison
Hull-based broker Oughtred & Harrison has appointed Katherine Daniel as its farm insurance representative for the North Yorkshire region and Sara Milner as the new business account executive for corporate and general insurance covering south, west and north Yorkshire.

Henderson
Henderson Insurance Brokers announces the following appointments:

Michael Wright has been appointed managing director of Henderson corporate division. He has been with Henderson for the past 14 years.

Steve Preston has been appointed managing director of the Kirmington office.

Graham Kettlewell has been appointed managing director of the Leeds office.

Richard Senior has been appointed director of corporate affairs.

In addition, Andrew White, Duane Bowers and Lee Sutton become associate directors of the company.

Clarke Roxburgh
Alan Armstrong has joined Clarke Roxburgh Insurance Brokers as a consultant for its risk management audit service. Having gained experience in various areas of industry, Armstrong became an independent consultant in 2001.

Richard Thacker
Ken Lappin joins Richard Thacker as operations director. Formerly, he was personal lines underwriting manager at Independent Insurance.

Charlton Commercial
Charlton Commercial Insurance Brokers announces the following appointments:

Bernard Buss FCCA becomes financial manager & company secretary. Mark Nice has been appointed motor trade manager

Robert Creedon becomes sales and development manager, while Norman Dolling ACII has been appointed senior account executive.

RHG
Gary Paulus has been appointed as head of regulatory affairs. He joins from a major insurer.

Mark Cheater joins as account executive. He will work to expand and develop the corporate insurance broking team.

LOSS ADJUSTERS

Jackson & Associates
Roger Butler has joined Jackson & Associates at its head office in Tunbridge Wells.

He will be responsible for developing the major loss unit and providing ongoing assistance for computer and technology claims. Previously, he was computer and technology claims divisional director at GAB Robins.

Specialist Liability Services
John Dougall joins the adjusting team of Specialist Liability Services. Based in Glasgow, he will be responsible for servicing Scotland and Ireland. Previously he worked at PCS as a manager.

LEGAL

Donns
Donns has promoted Nicky Lunt and Amanda Anson to partners and Ayesha Nayyar and Charles Laytham to associates. Lunt joined the firm in 1989 as a legal executive, while Anson joined in 2001. Nayyar began working at Donns in 1997 as a trainee and Laytham joined the firm in 2000.

OTHER

RBR Insurance Group
Ilkley-based insurance and financial services company, RBR Insurance Group, has appointed Phil Jacobs and Richard Darbyshire.

Jacobs joins as financial services director, having come from John Charcol Northeast, and before that, Grant Thornton. He has over 20 years' experience in the Industry.

Darbyshire has held various senior management and development positions in Norwich Union and until recently, was their business manager in Glasgow.

He joins RBR as strategic business development director. RBR has also recruited Gill Perkins as PR and marketing manager. Perkins was a freelance writer and PR adviser before joining the company and previous to that, was communications officer for Filtronic.

Helphire
Sue Brown joins Helphire Group as senior operations manager. She was previously head of customer services for the RAC.

Prior to that she worked for eight years as a call centre manager for a Bristol-based insurance company.

Resolve Americas
Resolve Americas, part of the Charles Taylor Consulting Group, has appointed Nicolas Lazarus (consultant) to its Mexico and Central America capability. Previously, he managed the McLarens Toplis office in Monterrey, northern Mexico.

He will be working under David Perry, managing director of Resolve Americas, and will be located initially in Mexico City.

Jaytech Consultants
Jacqui Jones has left 24 7 Broking where she was employed as an area sales manager in order to return to run her own independent consultancy business, Jaytech Consultants.

Jaytech specialises in system selection for insurance brokers, intermediaries, wholesale underwriting agencies, scheme/niche brokers and IFAs.

Mondial Assistance
Melanie Timmins joins as business development manager from Alphabet.

She has more than ten years' experience and has worked at Dial Contracts and AT&T Automotive.
