Mario Ciancarelli has left Swiss Re to join Glacier Re as senior underwriter.
In his 20 years in the industry, Ciancarelli has also worked for General Re, Allianz and Zurich.
Robbie Klaus, chief executive and chief underwriting officer at Glacier Re, said: “Mario's experience of reinsurance markets in Europe, the USA and South America is outstanding.
