Compass Broker Partnerships will incorporate Westinsure and launch next year
Giles-owned Ink Underwriting has confirmed its new broker network proposition Compass Broker Partnerships will launch on 1 January 2013.
The business will be headed by new London market managing director John Lincoln, along with Westinsure boss Norrie Erwin and FSJ development director Dave Truman.
Both Lincoln and Truman joined from Cobra Network earlier this year.
Ink Underwriting managing director Bernard Mageean said: “Compass Broker Partnerships is the future of the broker network model. As a group we have every confidence that our partnership strategy will be an exciting addition to the success of the group.
“We have already signed up a number of new broker partners to our new proposition, and we are in active discussions with a significant number of prospective partners.”
The company said its key focus would be on developing a placement strategy for each broker partner and a product design programme with a select panel of insurers.
The proposition will also include Ink’s existing Westinsure Network. Additional benefits will include access to the London markets via FSJ.
In a statement, Giles chief executive Brendan McManus (pictured) said Compass Broker Partnerships will address “many of the concerns raised by insurers in relation to the on-going sustainability of networks”.
