Garwyn targets growth with promotion

Garwyn has appointed Nicola Friar to the role of client relationship officer.

Reporting directly to Nick Patterson, commercial director, Friar will work closely with UK service delivery director, Chris Lewis and the rest of the new business team to develop and maintain strong client relationships as well as grow the company’s profile amongst new clients.

She joined Garwyn in 2007 following completion of a Law degree and a post graduate diploma in legal practice.

Nick Patterson said: “Nicola has displayed a natural aptitude in this industry, having excelled within her role as account manager and liability adjuster. We are confident the transition to the role of client relationship officer is one that she will make effortlessly. Key to this position will be working closely with our internal teams to ensure the delivery of Garwyn’s high quality claims management, loss adjusting and risk management expertise.”

Friar added: “This is a great new challenge which will allow me to transfer the skills and experience I have created over the last couple of years to really push home the benefits of the Garwyn proposition. Being at the front end of the loss adjusting sector has given me a true understanding of the claims issues customers face and this will stand me in excellent stead as I look to nurture long-term client relationships.”
