Chris Lewis promoted to senior role

Garwyn has appointed Chris Lewis in the newly created role of UK service delivery director.

The position has been developed to support Garwyn’s ambitious growth plans and will see Lewis head up all operational functions of the business excluding major loss and the ORS risk management subsidiary.

Lewis has worked for Garwyn since 2006 as business development manager. He will report directly to chief execuitve Declan Treanor and has also been appointed as a member of the Garwyn executive committee.

Treanor said: “This is a critical role for our business and one that is perfect for the skills and experience Chris brings. In essence, Chris will be responsible for every aspect of our service delivery as we strive to be the most efficient, professional and cost effective claims handling service in the UK and Ireland. His rich background in liability claims handling and investigation, his knowledge of the business and his willingness to challenge the status quo provides Chris with a strong foundation from which to succeed in this role.”

Lewis added: “This role provides the perfect opportunity for me to utilise the skills I have acquired through working within the liability adjusting sector, and help drive the quality of Garwyn’s service forward. The standards set by this company are high, and working alongside the directors whilst leading a team of skilled managers, my aim is to ensure we are working at optimum levels of efficiency and quality in all that we do. As a representative of CILA Specialist Interest Group for Liability, I will also ensure I maintain awareness of key issues in the industry, which will strengthen my role.”
