Garwyn appoints regional boss

Loss adjuster Garwyn has appointed Ian Lane as regional manager for the Midlands.

Lane, who has been with Garwyn for more than 14 years, will cover the activities and resources of both its Burton-on-Trent and Bromsgrove offices.

“Whilst we have had operations in both locations for a number of years, we felt there was a strong advantage in bringing them both under the control of one regional manager”, said Garwyn chief executive Declan Treanor.

“This ensures that we can provide our clients with the best possible response, capitalising on the resources at both offices.”

The Burton-on-Trent office has 6 liability adjusters with a further 5 technical liability staff based at the Bromsgrove office, each supported by administrative teams.

Lane said: “We are seeing a number of clients demanding a faster turn-around on cases as the pressure on their own businesses increases.

“Our goal with this new management of the Midlands operation is to provide our clients with a swifter response, whilst ensuring that the quality of service does not slip.

“Local knowledge and experience are important aspects of good quality liability adjusting. By bringing together the resources of both offices under one overall management we can still exploit that knowledge whilst at the same time ensuring maximum efficiencies on compliance and optimum quality through more effective, strategic deployment of available resources.”
