Adjusters and claims staff among new hires

Artur Niemczewski, Garwyn

Liability adjuster Garwyn has expanded its core liability adjusting expertise with the appointment of five new team members over the past month.

The firm made two new adjusting appointments at the start of April and a further three claims professionals since.

The new appointments are part of a strategic move to build the strength of skills and industry sector expertise across Garwyn’s national branch network.

A specialist in employer liability and public liability claims for the rail and bus industry, Paul McGovern has been appointed as a liability adjuster in Garwyn’s new Reigate office. He joins from First Group where he held the position of claims manager. He has worked within claims for 35 years.

Tony Collins returns to Garwyn after six years with Crawford SLS as a liability adjuster and boasts more than 10 years’ experience within the insurance industry. He is experienced in dedicated liability practices as well as insurer and broker claims departments and will work in the liability team at Garwyn’s flagship Birmingham office.

Crishna Ladwa has been appointed as a liability claims handler in Garwyn’s claims management unit in Birmingham. Ladwa joins Garwyn from Questgates where she worked as a commercial claims personal injury handler specialising in employer liability, public liability and motor claims for a large hotel group and retailer.

Garwyn chief executive Artur Niemczewski said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul, Tony and Crishna to the Garwyn team.  Each brings expert skills and practical industry sector experience that will prove immensely valuable to our clients across the UK.”
