New offices to be headed by ex-Fusion executives Nick Milton and Rob Chapman
Arthur J Gallagher’s MGA division Pen Underwriting will open offices in Bristol and Leeds before the end of this year.
The two new offices will be headed by executives Gallagher poached from Towergate-owned MGA Fusion earlier this year.
Pen’s Bristol office will be run by Nick Milton, who previously headed Fusion’s Bristol office, while Pen’s Leeds office will be run by Fusion’s former Leeds office head Rob Chapman.
Chapman will join Gallagher at the end of December.
The two new offices will give Pen 13 regional bases nationwide. This includes presences in the big insurance centres of Birmingham, Glasgow and London.
The new Bristol and Leeds offices will have access to all Pen Underwriting’s products through dedicated teams.
Pen Underwriting is the new unified brand for all Gallagher’s MGA businesses. It brings together 10 different MGAs.
The combined Pen Underwriting will have six specialist divisions:
- Real estate
- E-trading
- Commercial
- Hazardous goods, environmental and renewables
- Specialty and schemes
- Solicitors’ professional indemnity
