Darren Grodent will be senior motor fleet broker, while Patrick Bartlett will be renewals executive
Gallagher-owned broker network Compass Broker Services has made two hires to its London Markets division to help members to get wider access to the motor fleet market.
Darren Grodent has been appointed as a senior Motor Fleet Broker, while Patrick Bartlett has taken on the role of motor fleet renewals executive.
Grodent joins Compass from Lloyd’s broker Holman’s where he spent eight years as a motor fleet account handler.
He will be responsible for growing new business, as well as the management and development of insurer markets.
Bartlett joins Compass from Amlin, where he was a cross-class underwriting technician looking after new business, renewals, referrals, full policy administration and account management.
Compass managing director John Lincoln said: “Darren and Patrick are both great additions to a fleet team that prides itself on building and maintaining strong market relationships to ensure we offer our broker partners a targeted, fast turnaround service, accessing the right underwriters for the right risks.
“Their knowledge and experience will enable us to continue to place brokers’ business quickly, reliably and competitively.”
Compass was launched by broking group Giles in January 2013. The network became part of Gallagher when the acquisitive broking group bought Giles in November last year for £233m.
Compass now has more than 200 members controlling gross written premium in excess of £560m.
