UK loss adjuster, GAB Robins responds to latest flood damage across the country
GAB Robins has established a disaster response centre in Brighouse to deal with the 'extremely high' volume of claims being notified across all affected flood areas.
With further claims expected in the coming days, the company has based an emergency response team in the area to manage all claims onsite.
The team includes managers and adjusters who provided GAB Robins's emergency response to the Carlisle floods in 2005.
The company has already instigated its major Incident plan to respond to the severe and sustained flooding across the UK since the middle of June.
To date it has received thousands of claims from across the affected area. This makes this incident more severe than the Carlisle floods, the loss adjuster said.
