Clive Nicholls, UK chief executive of loss adjuster GAB Robins, has left the company for a position at Aquilo.
Clive Nicholls, UK chief executive of loss adjuster GAB Robins, has left the company.
Nicholls is now on gardening leave until October. He will join Aquilo as a senior director under long-standing friend Mike Eve who is chief executive. Eve was formerly a senior figure within Aon's claims business.
Nicholls' interim replacement will be Philippe Bes who was UK CEO in the late 1980s. Bes, who is chief operating officer of GAB's international operations, will manage the search for a long-term successor.
Nicholls has been with GAB for 20 years and is a member of Insurance Times' editorial advisory board.
Aquilo includes Accidentcare and Ecom.
