Loss adjuster GAB Robins has calculated that 94% of the claims it has handled from the England riots are commercial losses.
The Greater London area saw 83.33% of the total riot claims.
The north west region had 7.84% of the claims and the west midlands had 5.88%.
The south west had 1.96% and the south east had 0.98%.
"Average claims vary considerably and there are a large number of substantial claims, which distort average values," according to a GAB Robins bulletin.
