The CII and Biba are working on an agreement to obtain free use of the CII's online competence systems for Biba members.
The news followed the CII's announcement that it was in talks with Biba on a joint annual conference and that the CII and Cila were likely to hold a joint conference in the near future.
CII director general Sandy Scott said the CII had already established a joint online competence system with the trade association for life insurers and was attempting to do the same with Biba.
