Karen Gamble joins fraud busting firm Health Claims Bureau
Insurance fraud surveillance firm Health Claims Bureau (HCB) has appointed a former Heath Lambert director as its head of client relations.
Karen Gamble, who was a former director at Heath Lambert Consulting, will slip into her client relations role as part of HCB’s corporate solutions capability.
Gamble has held senior roles at major insurers, brokers and consultancies such as PPP, Sedgwicks, Towers Perrin and Heath Lambert Consulting, and also worked with major retailers such Bacardi.
HCB also offers claims management and rehabilitation to insurance income protection policyholders and help to pension scheme trustees in managing their companies.
The firm also has Sir Mansel Alyward as non-executive director. Alyward is chair of Public Health Wales and carried out extensive reviews of the health services.
HCB managing director and chairman Jim Harris said: “Karen will be bring a wealth of experience to HCB, which has traditionally offered professional and ethical ‘health risk management’ services to the insurance market.”
Gamble said: “With industry heavyweights such as Professor Sir Mansel Alyward and Peter Le Beau MBE as part of the team, I’m really excited and privileged to be joining the company at this time, plus being given the opportunity to spearhead a major expansion in the corporate risk sector.”
