Sheffield, Derbyshire and parts of North Wales under water
Flash floods hit the north of England and Wales, leaving schools closed, roads blocked and people needing to be rescued, the BBC reports.
Flooding problems
- 11 factory workers rescued in Dronfield, north Derbyshire
- Sheffield's transport system disrupted and parts of the supertram suspended. Two schools and City College closed. Bus depot affected. Library shut
