FirstAssist to provide ASU products to 1100 members
FirstAssist Insurance Services has been appointed by Tenet LIME, to provide a full suite of accident, sickness and unemployment (ASU) products and services to its 1100 members.
FirstAssist has tailored a comprehensive range of products to provide Tenet LIME members with an ASU proposition which includes mortgage payment protection insurance (MPPI), income protection (IP) and rental protection.
Alistair Hardie, managing director of speciality insurance at FirstAssist said: “The new schemes developed for Tenet LIME clearly demonstrate that by combining our flexible approach with an industry-leading suite of ASU products, we are now the first choice for insurance intermediaries, mortgage brokers and IFAs in this market.
“As other providers have withdrawn or restricted cover, we have remained fully committed and this win further enhances our reputation in the market, providing a great start to 2010, as we continue to successfully grow our intermediary business.”
Amanda Waddington, general manager, Tenet LIME added: “We wanted to offer our members a truly bespoke and exclusive ASU offering, modelled to fit our distribution network. Not everyone can negotiate such deals for their members, but as one of the largest IFA networks, we have considerable influence with providers.
“FirstAssist were willing to quickly deliver us a custom-built ASU proposition, which is the first time we have done this for a general insurance product. This has significantly enhanced our ASU offering for members and we are looking forward to working in partnership with them.”
