Financial services remain optimistic about the future, despite a second static quarter for growth, according to the latest financial services survey by the CBI and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The survey found companies expect growth to resume over the next three months and they plan higher investment expenditure in the year ahead.

June's survey found that 33% of financial services firms said their business volume had increased during the past months, whilst the same percentage said business decreased.
